Nearly choked to death.... HELP!!!!!!!!
Ok so i have been doing so good struggling with my vitamins. BUt this morning i tried and i couldnt it got stuck in my throat and that was it choking coughing and throwing up. I got down the omega 3 but not the prenatal. So i need help... Anyone taking a vitamin that is in a capsule at least or not as big as horse. Im takinng Prenatal 1 nature. Thanks to anyone who can help me. Im feeling guilty for missing one day maybe when i wake up before work tonight ill go get more. let me know thanks

Don't be silly. Missing one is no big deal. Next time try putting water in your mouth first, then the vitamin. It helps me.

All of the ones I have tried were huge so I can't recommend a smaller one. Why don't you try talking to your doc about getting chewables...I heard alot of people take them.

This is what I do...I have to do it with any kind of pill I take...big and small. It really helps!!

If you are finding this a problem, don't take the prenatals. You don't need them if you are eating a balanced diet.
I didn't take prenatals during my pregnancy due to problems taking iron and I had a very very healthy pregnancy and a very very healthy baby. If you can't take them, don't kill yourself doing it.

This is what i do but for some reason today it just didnt work. I will try again when i wake up prior to working tonight.

If you want try one that i slike a gel capsule.....might go down easier! I am taking Prima Care 1 and it is a gel cap so I find it easier to swallow!

i don't take them either, not since i'm 7 weeks, they all made me so sick! i'll take flintstones when i remember. my dr is not worried about it

This is also how I swallow pills.
But maybe you can put it in like yogurt or applesauce? Maybe that way it is like hidden in the gulp of food? And the food is thick so you probably wouldnt even feel it go down.

Go out and get yourself the flintstone gummy ones. They taste yummy and do the same thing. Only thing you need to take in addition that is a folic acid and those are usually so tiny.

This may sound gross but my when I was younger I could NEVER swallow pills. My dad would break them in half and take each half in a big spoon and put OJ in each spoon and mix it until it dissolved. Maybe that would help?

I never took prenatals either, they made me so sick. I just take Flintones complete( Dr's advice) DD#1 was fine and I am sure this one is too!

Mine are small. "Perfect Prenatals." from the health food store/Vitamin store by me. One at each meal. I usually take two at breakfast and one at dinner. LOVE them
