carseat recommendations
What carseat do you have/did you register for? I alreayd registered for the infant carrier (travel system) So I need the recommendations on the next seat baby will need.

We got the britax marathon for dh car and I have the infant car seat that came with the chicco cortina travel system in my car for now.

i've heard britax has good safety ratings. There was an article in newsday about their newer model....the britax diplomat. It's supposed to be very safe. They have it at bru

I have a Graco Giselle (black, pink & lil grey) Only found it online- not in stores. Also have the matching stroller...its really nice.

OOOOHHH I love that pattern.
I have a Graco Safeseat and Britax Marathon. My sister swore by the Martahon and hers was fairly new so she gave it to me. I registered for the Evenflo Triumph which is also good but no one got it for us.

Graco snug n ride tested good for safty and is about 1/2 the price or more then Britax-which are BIG car seats but safe. I think it depends on how much room you have and style.

We registered for the Graco Comfortsport. It was mentioned in Baby Bargains as a good one and much cheaper than the britax that I originally wanted to get.

Baby Bargains rated a Britax #1 and a Graco #2. We went with the Britax because it hold up to 60lbs versus the 40lbs from Graco. Plus the Graco one Baby Bargains liked was only $20 cheaper then the Britax. At that point the decision was easy. HTH!

I too registered for the Graco Snugride for the infant seat as part of a travel system (although I may change this to a separate seat and stroller b/c I'm not in love with the pattern) and the Britax for the convertable.
