Feb Mommies

I think it really just hit me that we are having this baby soon. Someone asked when I was expecting and I said Feb and they were like, so next month and then I realized it was Jan 1st. Our little ones will be here before we know it.

OMG February 3rd can't come soon enough for me!! Just this past week I've really found myself slowing down. It's gotten to the point where it's uncomfortable to walk too much...and bending down is just about out of the question now.

Last night I went with DH and my sister to walk the dog around the block -- I had to stop several times and my sister kept asking me "r u okay? did your water break?? r u in labor?!" I was like "oh dear lord - I WISH!!!"

Hang in there ladies, we're almost there!

My first thought at midnight was "OMG...I'm having a baby next month!!"

He's kicking up a storm and pushing my stomach into my throat, so needless to say, I can't wait for the little guy to make his debut.

I know...how exciting but at the same time scary! I am at the point now where I am just soooo uncomfortable and I am still working which really drains me.
Our furniture for the babies room still has not come in so alittle stress there even though she will not sleep in the crib right away I really would like to have the room set up before she gets here

I'm getting really excited & can't wait for the baby to get here. Still have lots to do, I'm actually happy we live in a one bedroom NYC apt, so the "baby's room" is the corner of our bedroom, so less to furnish, etc. I'm starting to get really scared about how this kid is getting out! Physically, I feel better now at almost 33 wks than I've felt at any point in the pregnancy.

I am getting really excited for the day to be here. All this prep and waiting is getting tiresome. I just want the baby here already.

I am also looking really forward to not being pregnant anymore. I am not horribly uncomfortable. The baby is really being good and not giving me much trouble. I have no pains (knock on wood). I am just so uncomfortable at night and don't sleep much.

The nursery is pretty much done - just a few odds and ends left. I am going to pack my bags this weekend just to get it done. DH and I are going to make a list this week of what is left so we can get organized.

I know, I can't believe it! It seems that the time went by so quickly. I'm scared, yet excited to finally meet . The hospital tour on Saturday made it feel really "real" to me.

I still feel like I have a ton to do (e.g., paint nursery, get a ped., get organized, etc.), but I'm sure it will all work out. I just feel a little overwhelmed when I think of all I need to do and what I don't even know about motherhood!
