Coffee drinkers & pg

How much coffee do you drink?
I couldn't kick the habit, so I'm limiting myself to 1 cup per day. Doc said it was fine. I can't live w/o it.

I used to drink a huge amount of coffeee before i was pregnant (coffee aholic) but honestly i have had no desire to drink it in the morning... so once in a while i have a cup of tea...

I drink 2 cups a day but in the 1st trimester the smell of coffee made my stomach turn, so I have only started to drink coffee again once I hit the 2nd trimester.

I used to drink a full thermos en route to work and then another cup during the day, then probably 2 cups a day on the weekends. Now, I fill the thermos 1/2 way and probably only go through 1/2 of that tops, then nothing on the weekends. I'm trying to be good.

I drink a cup a day. But sometimes that cup is a big one.

I try to have decaf... "try" being the key word here. But I also allow myself to have a can or two of Coke during the week.

I starting by weaning myself when ttc. first to half calf (but Starbucks so still pretty strong), then totally to decaf.

Now, I switch between decaf to one cup of regular a day depending on how I'm feeling.

I may also have a can of Coke in the afternoon, and I'm a bit of a chocaholic.

I try not to have all 3 in one day (coffee, coke & chocolate) but my doctor says up to 2 cups a day is fine.

I was a total caffeine JUNKY! It was bad...

Now, AMAZINGLY, I rarely have a cup of coffee. Every once in a while when I have a really bad night of sleep I will have one the following day, but for the most part.... I am caffeine free!!!!!!!

I managed to kick coffee to the curb and don't really miss it.

Prior to pg I averaged 1 cup a day and then a Starbucks run 2-3 times a week.

I drink decaf tea only with an occasional can of coke or half a cup of coffee.

i've heard 16 oz a day (2 cups) is okay...most days i follow that or i don't have any at all

I went from about 4-5 cups before being PG to 2 a day. The OB said that was fine.

I have my 16oz travel mug, but I usually only fill it up 1/2 to 3/4 of the way.

You can have up to 300mg/day of caffeine. Each coffee brand has a slightly different amount in it. One cup/day is fine.

I drank none in the first trimester. In the past 4 weeks, I've had 3 cups of coffee.

I usually have one cup in the morning half reg/half decaf or I will have tea. My doctor said this is fine.

I had one cup a day, and weekends at friends we used to have a coffee clutch nite... Now completely caffeine free . Don't miss it right now!

This is a big problem for me. I'm a big coffee drinker! I have been trying to have between 1-2 cups a day. I should switch to decaf though. What about teas? Even though decaf tea is decaf, i heard it still has caffiene.

Oh how I wish I could have a cup. Before getting prego I was a coffee fanatic. Now I can't stand the smell of it.

I am a big tea drinker and went from 4 cups prior to p/g, to one a day now.

One cup every couple of days....
Hot cocoa every couple of days, though....
