First Appt.
I'm going to my first appt tomorrow. I just found out that I'm PG 4 days ago, and I had this appt . booked awhile ago for just a regular physical. What should I expect at my first appt.? I tried to think of a list of questions to ask, can anyone think of questions that I might forget to ask? Thanks!

For my 1st appointment, they did a sono and that was it. The doctor gave me a bunch of prenatal vitamins and some pamphlets. He asked if i had any questions, but i really didn't.
That was it. Then he scheduled me to come back in 2 weeks.

Nothing much happened at my first appointment. Urine test...script for bloodwork...that was about it.

My first appointment was a sonogram as well. You could only see the a dark circle and the doctor said she saw the yolk sac. Then I went back in two weeks.
You may want to make a list of things you like to eat or use that you may think could be harmful to the baby. Make sure you take out the list - I thought I remembered everything and then got home and forgot things.

Urine test for pg test, bloodwork, tons of questions to be asked and told. Then I was told to come back 1 month later for a 9 week sono.

They did a urine test and some blood work. No sonogram. Then the doctor went over my my family history , DH's family history, what I cant eat,what to expect, etc.
It was too early in pregnancy for a sonogram

I had a sonogram, internal checked, pap, weight, and urine, and a lot of blood work done, 9 vials.
How far along are you? They maybe will do just a checkup and schedule another appoint when you are futher along for a sono? Best of Luck!
