I failed
I just found out I failed my 3 hr. Merry Xmas to me  I'm so upset. I have a significant family hx of diabetes and now I'll be even more at risk for type II diabetes. I know I can control it with diet and exercise, but it just suks especialy finding out today.

I'm sorry. I have gestational diabetes so I know how you feel. I am able to control it with diet and exercise but I know it ***** to have to deal with it around the holidays. I haven't been able to have any cookies, cakes or ice cream.

Thanks everyone for your hugs, I needed them! Xmas eve was really hard not just because I couldn't eat all of my favorite things but I also found out that I was quarantined from my aunt's house the next day because my little cousin got 5ths disease. I was so sad because that was the family i really wanted to see. But DH and I spent the day with his family and we had a really nice time. DH was so proud of me that I was able to to resist and make good choices! I know this is not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things and I will get through it. I think I just needed a pity party first!
