I think it's a beautiful name and that is a really strange connection that people have made! No one is going to be thinking of Rudy when they they look at your beautiful girl!! Keep it

The Giu spelling, which is Italian, is what has family significance... so Julianna as nice a name as it is, it would lose the family connection piece which is part of a family surname not someone's first name.
Bottom line we are keeping Giulianna so if a pops out, then that will be her first name. I'm feeling very good about it... thank you all for your thoughts!!
