Confirmed - after beta this morning...
The RE's office called to confirm that I am pregnant! I of course knew since I took about 12 hpts since last Friday. My beta was 252 and progesterone over 40. Is that beta number good? I expected it to be higher. The nurse said the numbers were very good.
Thanks for all your support. I of course am nervous because of what I went through w/ my m/c last time, but am hoping my body is ready for a healthy pregnancy this time! Please send some positive vibes my way. I hope I start a bfp epidemic on this board, you wonderful ladies all deserve it!!

Thanks everyone!!
I just e-mailed the RE because I am nervous that I have to wait 8 days to go back for a sono and they are not checking my numbers prior to next week....anyway, is it normal to have a second beta two days later?? He replied and said to come back Fri for more bloodwork. I understand that they can't do a sono yet, it's too early, but I guess I should know if the numbers are increasing ok.

Congrats!!! Fri. sounds like the right day to go back for the repeat beta. You want to see the hCG doubling. You initial numbers look GREAT! Going back for the first sono when you in your 6th week is typical. If you go at 5 weeks you may not see much. By the 6th week you are likely to see a tiny bean and possibly a little heartbeat flickering! Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks for the info, sasha. I just wanted to make sure I am on the right track. Now the nerves will creep up in anticipation of Friday!!
I am telling myself to not expect a heartbeat next week, but I guess since it's an RE, they do sonos earlier.

Congrats!!!
I had bloodwork on a friday and then on the following Monday, to make sure the numbers were increasing.
My first sono wasn't until 6 weeks 3 days.

Your numbers look great and I know your anxiety.
