changing dr
I have my first appt in 2 weeks (I can't wait) and it is with a new doctor. Should I call the new doctor and see if they would like my old records or just get them and have them?
TIA

How far along are you? If you have a history of medical problems you might need your chart. I would wait though and speak with the new dr. because you might not need everything and you will have to pay for the old records.

Re: changing dr
I would speak to the new dr. first and ask him exactly what he wants. Most places charge .25 per page which can add up pretty fast. It shouldnt take them more than 1 week to copy the file and give it to you which would probably be before your 2nd visit with the new dr. Good luck!
