Is anyone getting nervous..
I am 25 wks and 4 days and even though I have a few more months I am still getting closer and bigger every morning it feels like. As I start to think about the baby's room and just what my life will be like when the baby comes it makes me so nervous. I cant wait and I am so happy but sometimes I start to freak myself out. Did anyone else go through this?

YES!! I am so excited for her to be here but I am so nervous as to what our life will be like. I'm just not ready emotionally or logistically yet. Once I am "over" being pregnant, I think my excitement will over take my nervous, b ut right now, I feel like I can take care of her so much better with her inside me I guess she can't stay in there forever, huh?

I am nervous about how the relationship between me and DH will change From what I read lurking on the parenting board, it made me very nervous!

I too feel this way... very excited, but yet overwhelmed by the concept of the major life change we have ahead of us and of course - paying for everything from medical bills to items that we don't get from a baby shower that we may need and child care. Not to mention finding a nanny and getting this house in order so that I can either discard or store the stuff that is currently in the baby's room. I really wanted our bathroom redone before the baby (we're adding a closet to the baby's room when we redo the bathroom), but with DH out of work I'm not sure how soon this will happen. I also think every day when I take time to relax about how relaxing may not be something I'll get to do much of. DH is very excited and very happy these days and our families are very excited as well which is helping me not go into panic mode.

Ditto to everything in all the above posts. With the baby moving around all the time its feeling much more real and I'm starting to worry about everything! Thanks for posting. Its nice to know I'm not the only one panicking.

Yup..about pretty much everything. The birth, how I'll handle labor, how I'll deal with the baby when he arrives..pretty much everything!
