ok- this s ucks
DH got a much needed operation today
he got a disc replaced in his neck that will hopefully change our lives- he has been in constant pain for 3.5 years
I was looking forward to relaxing and being alone in the house
and it hasn't even been 3 hours yet and it s ucks
I feel bad that he is alone at the hospital- and I wasn't even allowed to stay (he is still in the recovery room b/c he is in pain and they gave him alot of drugs due to his size)
I hope he can come home tomorrow

All I know is I had a spinal fusion in my lower back last February and it totally changed my life for the better! I am praying this will be true for your Dh also!

All I know is I had a spinal fusion in my lower back last February and it totally changed my life for the better! I am praying this will be true for your Dh also!
this make me feel better
if it changes his/our life even 50% - that will be huge
it's been to hard to watch someone to active have to lay in bed for DAYS

Beth, I hope your DH feels better!
Phyl, this makes me feel better too! My mom just found out that she needs this surgery for a back injury she had 10 years ago. I really hope she decides to do the surgery.
