Always measured each visit with each pregnancy. My High Risk doc. measures me through sonogram every other week and my regualr OB measures me with the tape on the belly.

Mine started in the mid 20 weeks. I think she used the measurement to recommend growth sonograms, since I was measuring big. Then every appointment after the first, she took a measurement.

they did once...actually it was jsut one of the doctors in my practive the others never did and I am 34 weeks.....

So funny you mentioned this...This is now my 3rd pregnancy, never had my stomach measured...I am 29 weeks and at todays appointment out came the tape measure to measure my stomach...Never had it done be4, today was the 1st time

my doc measured me throughout the preg - the cms are supposed to correlate w/your week to see if the baby's growing on schedule

I get measured at every appointment. Started at 18 weeks. At my last appointmnet on Friday (24 weeks) the doctor said baby is "measuring perfectly." I am glad to know that the baby is measuring well because mom has packed on 24 pounds in 24 weeks!!!
