Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
I have everyday glasses from C&B and they are great.
Does C&B sell Riedel? Or it's just the style?

Here is the picture
I don't have those - but I have another glass from Riedel, I love them!!
I think you might be able to find them in Macys - but I think you will get them cheaper in Bed, Bath and Beyond, cause you can use 20% off coupons (and if you need coupons - let me know - I have tons of them )

Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
I've seen similar glasses all over - but I can't remember where I saw them cheapest.
As a wine drinker, I'm not a huge fan. They look cool, but wine glasses have stems for a reason! (They keep your hands from warming the wine, among other things.)
However, I'd probably still drink wine out of a dixie cup if I had to, so who I am to comment?!

Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
Yes, Riedell is a very good name.
However, I agree with Kara. I prefer wine glasses with a stem.

Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
I am not fan of the stemless wine glasses for the exact reason that Kara mentioned. I have, however, seen these around everywhere...

Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
Riedell's are good but the regular Crate and Barrel brand glassware breaks very easily IMO

I was going to say the same thing! I have an inexpensive version of this style that we use for regular drinks.... I like the way they look, but they're not terribly stable with those rounded edges at the base.... we've had a few accidents
definitely prefer stemmed glasses for wine..... hate white wine that's too warm

I have them and love them, after a few glasses they are a lot harder to knock over and spill.

Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
I have the Waterford Marquis version of them. I love them...no more spilled wine at parties.
I still have the classic stemmed glasses, I mostly use these when we have a party or if I'm drinking alone.

Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
I like glasses with stems better but MIL just bought us a bunch of these type because she's worried about red wine on our white carpets. LOL!

Re: anyone like these wine glasses??
I love them I have the Reidel ones....I drink red wine out of them because my hand touching the glass vs. the stem doesn't make as much of a difference in temperature.
