Those who rent dopplers
With my DD I first got it at 11 weeks and picked up her HB right away.
With this pregnancy I got it at 8 weeks. Is that too soon to hear the HB? I hear my HB and I hear my placenta working nicely, but I don't hear the baby's HB. I have a digital doppler. Every now and then I see a number of 140 something or 150 something flash up but I don't hear the actual HB and then the screen clears. Do you think that's it and it's just too early to hear it clearly or just a misread in moving the doppler around?

Re: Those who rent dopplers
My doctor told me the earliest they use a doppler is at 11-12 weeks because earlier than that they can't pick it up. I wouldn't worry... but keep trying!

Re: Those who rent dopplers
Thanks! I keep saying "I'll wait a week" before trying again but it's in my possession now...
