sono picture as avatar?
How do you do that? I scanned my picture but it becomes a pdf file. How do i make the pdf file into jpeg file?

Open it up and click 'save as' and then change the format to .jpg.

it won't let me do it. It just says Save A Copy or Save as Text.

open it up in MS Paint - the basic program that's on every computer and you can save it as a jpg. Or scan it in again and change the format to .jpg before you save it so it's not just a pdf.

it won't let me open it up in paint. it says the format is not supported. I guess i'm out of luck!

Sorry that didn't work. 
Adobe Acrobat always lets me change the format of a .pdf file. I think you should rescan it under different settings because that doesn't sound normal to me.
