spinoff to vacationing with a 14 month old
We are going away with a 7 month old what do I need... what dont I need... help??!!

We went away when DS was 3 months old, and at the end of this month we are taking a cruise.
Where are you staying?
If there is a crib, then you have to bring your own linens. It is easy to overpack clothes, which doesn't really make a difference since the clothes are so small
Most people would say to buy your diapers and formula when you get there, we did that in July, but for the cruise we are going the night before and not renting a car, so I am bringing formula, diapers and swim diapers with me.
I am stressed out about bottles and the ship, but in July we had a dishwasher, so it was easy.

I would bring the blanket/sheet DC sleeps with, some favorite toys, enough diapers for two days(buy more when you get there, unless its a foreign place, then pack for the whole time), formula and food for a couple of days too.
Do not forget- repeat do not forget- the extra set of clothes for the plane. The one time in my life I did forget these DD had a major poop right before we got on the plane- ruined her outfit( I had to throw it away ) and trashed her car seat. We had to buy the smallest size souvenir t-shirt but she still looked rediculous. An extra shirt for you couldn't hurt either.
Feel free to FM too- DD has taken 6 cross country trips by the age of 11 months
