NAME HELP!
We found out we are having a boy. I have always LOVED the name Christopher James. Now we are also tossing around Daniel James. I like Christopher James better and we have a few Daniels in teh family but i like the way Daniel sounds better with our last name. Christopher doesnt sound BAD with our name just not as nice as Daniel.
Would you go for the name you love or the name that sounds slightly better.
Also what name do you like better?

Personally, I would go for the name you love over the name that "sounds" better. Especially if there are a few folks in your family with the same first name.

I'd go for a name I loved too...I like Daniel James...Daniel was my choice if we were having a boy ( Daniel John actually) but we are having agirl In any case I would rather pick a name I loved.

A name I loved as long as it wasn't really bad with the last name.
I like both names but would choose Christopher because I like Chris and not Dan. They will shorten it in school!

Like everyone else said, I'd go with the name I love. You're not going to be calling him by his first & last name too often anyway, KWIM?

thanks i think we will go with Christopher. It doesnt sound bad with our last name just to me not AS nice as Daniel but i always wanted a Chris so i think thats it.
