I think it has to do with a person having a likeable personality.... but it must be mixed with people being able to relate to them and viewing them as 'non-threatening'. what's less threatening than a person who knows less than I did when I was 6?
What's much more concerning is that we're now judging politicians not by their accomplishments, but by their photo-ops at diners and how 'non-threatening' they are.... and we're getting people like this in office

nah, there are no repercussions for being an idiot in contemporary american culture. Actually, many people are proud of how uneducated they are.... and many others (like her) are rewarded for it.
sure some kids (especially girls, since she's a reasonably pretty female celebrity) look up to her. In the end, it's up to the parents to put an anti-stupidity wall around their children
