Non-PG activities only
I have been so excited about that I have not been bummed in the least about any of the things I can't do while PG...and drinking & eating sushi are 2 of my very favotire things. Well I just had a sad moment when I realized I can't ride the mechanical bull tomorrow night when we all go out to Johnny Utah's. So sad. Although I was picturing that sexyass scene from Urban Cowboy when what's her face ride it in slow motion, but it would probably have been way less hot had she been attempting that with a protruding belly.
Cry baby moment over.

Re: Non-PG activities only
I had the same thing happen to me a month ago when we went to Dorney Park and I was so excited to go on the rides (I was just 3 months so not showing yet) and on every single ride was a picture of a pregnant lady with a big slash across it.
Imagine all the fun I had watching every go on the rides all day and me standing around by myself.
DH wouldn't even let me go into the haunted house because he didn't want to scare the baby.
You know all along that you can't drink, have sushi, etc. It's the not so obvious things that take you back sometimes and you're like "crap! I can't do that either!"

Re: Non-PG activities only
You can make riding the mechanical bull all sexy like your after baby goal
I feel your pain with the activities though, my entire family is going on a cruise in 2 weeks, and there are very few excursions that I can do. DH is going quad riding with my brothers, and my parents are going scuba diving.....ill be sitting on the beach alone

Ive read somewhere that pregnant women shouldnt go to haunted houses because it can increase their heart rate and that somehow could hurt the baby..not sure though

Re: Non-PG activities only
I actually had a dream the other night that I was riding my bicycle (haven't done it since PG since I was cocncerned about falling) down a big hill. Partway down I realized, "Ah, I'm pregnant, this probably isn't a good idea"! Skiing was also involved in the dream too. I'm looking forward to doing both again, though skiing may not really happen much this winter.
You'll ride that bull again before you know it!

I am sure your DH would love it if you pretend to "ride the bull" later that night

Re: Non-PG activities only
Seriously....I can sympathize!
I would love SUSHI and a martini tonight!
I could not go go-carting over the summer.
And I want to go snowboarding this year but can't.
