Please, I'm desperate!!! *Finally, a callback!*
I've had a migraine for 2 days. I haven't had a headache like this one since becoming pregnant and any little ones I've had, Tylenol has worked. I'm nervous about taking any more. I've already taken 6 since last night. I am afraid to take anything else. I haven't called my doctor because I can feel the eyes rolling over the phone If I say "I have a headache"..
Is there ANYHING else I can take for this?? My advil bottle is looking pretty good to me right now... I've tried caffeine, a long nap, flooding with fluids, a hot shower- none of my usual tricks are working..
HELP!!!
Holy crumbcake! It took them 5 hours to call me back. BUT I got the OK to take advil!!!! Ahh, relief is on it's way!

Call your Dr.!!! In pregnancy, headaches can sometimes be a symptom of something else. Don't worry about what the dr.'s office will say . . . especially since it's been 2 days and you've already tried a number of remedies.
In the meantime, have you tried a cool compress over your eyes? That helps me sometimes.

If its really that bad, then I would call the doctor. It could be a sign that your blood pressure has shot up too high.

I would call your doctor and tell them you've had a migrane for 2 days that won't go away. They may want to see you.

I feel your pain 100% and then some!! The 2nd trimester was the worst for me as far as the headaches went ( I had one for 10 days straight once) It was completely agony and I refused to take more than 2 tylenol a day!!
Until I actually ended up going to a neurologist as per my Dr. and he put me out of work for 2 1/2 weeks and told me to take tylenol every 4-6 hours as needed and that it was totally fine!! Believe it or not the tylenol actually helped and so did the rest and relaxation from work! I still get a bad one here and there, but nothing compared to before!!
The neurologist also teleconferenced with my Dr. and they discussed prescription medications that would be safe and effective if the headaches continued!!

Definitely call the dr!! I get migraines all the time and when the DR. gave me a list of "no" medications, I asked him about my migraines. He said to always try the extra strength tylenol first and if it persisted to call them and they would figure something else out...
 migraines suck!

Laura...def call the Dr! I had one at the beginning of my pregnancy and I made DH beep them twice!! I would def call!

Call the doctor!!! This does not sound like a simple headache - no one should be rolling their eyes at you for it. It sounds like you can't function because of it - that's not a small inconvenience.
