 Ceramics
Last night Shopaholic921, Tanaholic and myself took our first ceramics class!!! It was soooo much fun! We went to Rosemarie's Ceramics in East Meadow. They have great projects for the house - I wanted to make everything on the shelves!
Shopaholic921 decapitated her Rudolph though - hopefully they will be able to put it back together....it was good times!!!

First of all, Diana was like a kid in a candy store for the first time. She honestly EVERYTHING! Every 2 seconds she turned to me and Natalie, "Oh girls.. LOOK HOW CUTE THIS IS!!!" Ofcourse she picks the easiest project..lol
And I actually broke 2 things..lol But Nat broke her thing too, so I don't feel so bad. Who knew I was a clutz...
Rose and the mean lady are gonna put Rudolfs head back on for me though!

Sure, I don't mind at all!! It's soo cheap!! The classes are Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.. and you can go on a Monday and pay $5. That gets you in for the whole week. Then you just buy the piece (which is soo reasonably priced). Last night I paid $24 for a HUGE Rudolf holding a basket, tools, the $5 class, AND I insisted on paying for this other huge piece I had broken.
You and your daughter should DEF do it.. it was SOO much fun! And the people are super nice! Except for that one lady..lol

You should come --- do you live around the East Meadow Avenue? I want to recruit everyone - this poor woman is having a hard time now being that everything is so expensive these days. I almost told her to raise her class prices to $10.00 -- then realized that would not benefit us at all - but I really felt bad for her.
And - I think that the prices she charges for the pieces are super cheap. I thought mine would have been at least 20.00 - and it was 6.50.

 Re: Ceramics
I went there with a friend in the late 90's...needless to say I have no creative talent whatsoever and the thing I made looked like something out of a kindergarten art class. I still have it to remind me to never impose the world on my lack of talent!

I will def. come actually. I will look her up and call her to take classes. That sounds like so much fun! My mom's friend took classes with her a long time ago and she has done some beautiful things! If you have her number please FM me.
ETA-Diana I got the website!! I will try to make it for next week.

 Re: Ceramics
I think we are going to try and go on Monday night next week (but we are not set on it so if you girls can't make it we can pick another night)
We just need to call her that day and tell her we are coming and she will save the seats for us.
Oh and Dags - I saw your hubby this morning on the train!!!
