Azelex (prescription)...or Finacea gel. NOT preg...just lurking and know about this stuff.

Sulfur is safe to use too. Proactiv has an acne mask that only has sulfur in it, no salicylic acid. It works pretty well. I ordered it from QVC.

This is what I was put on just prior to TTC. Works well on my skin - better than anything else I've ever used.
Stay away from retinol/retin-a.

My doc said tea tree oil was OK. thank goodness because I  the tea tree line from the body shop! It works wonderfully

I use face washes with salicylic acid in them.... Doc was ok with this.
