Acid Reflux Anyone!
Uh hello I cant even sleep! Please recommend what you do if you have this! I have a pretty nasty case ..I'm even on medication! Sleeping is a NIGHTMARE! TIA

I take tums and sleep semi-sitting up. Those are the only things that seem to help me.

I have the same problem. I take Tums and Zantac but neither seem to work. i'm going to ask my doctor next week if there's anything else I can do.

i have it sooo bad that i threw up blood the other day...its torturing me....my esophogus is eroding...LOL cant wait to get on some real meds when this baby is out...right now i take zantac

I have it really bad...
I drink Mylanta before I go to sleep and sleep with three pillows. The Mylanta seems to be working. My doctor told me I could also take pepcid.

Tums works for me as well as the pillows while sleeping. I also find that drinking milk eases a lot of my discomfort.

I kid you not..eat a green apple (granny smith). It really does help.
You can google it. I did and that's when I decided to try it. It worked for me.
I'll keep a few slices in the fridge and eat one or two depending on how bad it gets (I only get acid reflux sporadically) and I sleep with three pillows under my head.
Try it.

I have heard about the apples too, but they make my throat itsch...the key is to not fill up yout stomach too much...the antacids also work better on an empty stomach..i use 5 pillows...my hubby calls it the nest!!!
