Sooo.. How did you get pregnant?

I know HOW silly! My question is did you BD every other day? Was it a complete suprise? Was it planned using a OPK???

We are actively TTC this month and we started BDing every other day begining a week before O and going to continue the same every other day method a week after O.

What do you think are my chances?

We BD'd every day.... but that's normal for us...

And she came as a surprise - I know - big surprise!

every other day like you are doing and both times it took 2-3 months i also heard to drink green tea and i did not sure if it worked or not but it was worth the try to me - Good luck!

We had trouble ttc and tried all sorts of methods. It took us about a year of actively BDing around O.

The cycle that worked, we BD'd upon pos OPK, morning and night, with PreSeed, and I used Natural Progesterone cream to extend my Luteal Phase (mine was only 9 days).

every other day from cycle day 10 to 19. i drank green tea too, i have no idea if that helped. got preg the 2nd month. try not to stress it, just have fun! good luck!

we started BD every other day... once i got a positive OPK, we BD every day for 3 days, then continued with the ever other day thing...

First 2 months just BD'ing whenever. Then month 3 I used an OPK and it worked

Nothing special, not planned or unplanned. I had been off BC for 9 months and we had decided that August was the month to start just letting it happen if it did. I had figured we would wait till maybe the 3rd month to start really "trying".

So therefore, I was not using OPK's, doing anything special nor was my cycle very regular. We ended up BD'ing on CD 14 & CD 16 only in September & we are expecting in June!

We BD'ed 2 days before ovulation and day of ovulation. We conceived on our second month of trying.

Went off the pill in Feb but we weren't really trying. Hit it on the money in April....it was somewhat of a suprise!

i used the Answer OPK strips, i got pregnant 1st try both times

we had just stopped preventing, since we were planning on TTC "soon". I didn't expect it to happen the first night!

With Ella, it was a few months of trying.

wedding night - figured we'd start letting it happen, if possible..first try and boom, our son is here 9 mos after our wedding :)

Okay, I admit when I read the subject line I thought, "well, the usual way."



We tried for awhile--initially we BDd every day during that ovulation period, but then we started every other day at the suggestion of my doctor when nothing was happening. Maybe that helped, or maybe we got lucky, I don't know!

No OPKs...we BD'd the 2 days prior to O and the day after O. I temped - had been doing so for about 3 years to prevent pregnancy...had a few "oops" starting back in February but got pregnant the first month of trying.

We tried for 2 months, the first month we BD every day and didn't get preggo, my dr said we are doing it to much--lol He said to try every other day and it worked for us!

It was our 1st month not preventing anything. We had the discussion on Wed, Thurs night we BD, Fri I got a + OPK we BD that night and Sun. PG 1st month trying.

We just had sex a lot! I know many say not to have sex each day, but we did and it worked for us!

We didn't put too much thought into it, just decided around the time I was ovulating to go for it... We didn't do it every day... for right now my advice is to relax and enjoy your DH. Worry about it only after a few months of not getting anywhere. I would have waited about 6 months before getting an OPK, and 3 months after that I would have gone to the doc. I started to track my AF on mymonthlycycles.com but got PG the first month of trying so only one entry still exists in there.

We got pg on our third month of trying and bd'ed every other night. It's funny because the month we conceived we only bd'ed three times in one week the first two months of trying we bd'ed every other night for about 10 days.

I guess 3 is our lucky #

I counted to CD 15 and locked ourselves in our home for an entire weekend and just went to town. No OPKs or anything. It was our first time trying and we apparently got it right on the first shot.

It just happened. We weren't trying yet, and DH uh...hesitated a second longer than he meant to and here we are.

I took OPKs.
We BDs every other day on medium and everyday on high (around avulation).

Worked from the first try
