An Afternoon in L&D
For the second time in as many weeks, off to L&D the OB sent me from a regular checkup. 
DH & I spent a few hours there today while the baby was being monitored. So far so good, but I need to have a BPP on Tuesday.
All signs point to toxemia/preeclampsia.  
At 37+ weeks hearing emergency c-section is very unnerving.

Im so sorry. At least you are on top of it so that you can keep you and your baby safe. And since you are far enough along, at least you can know that it will be safe to deliver your baby if necessary. My mom had pre-eclampsia with me and she didnt need a C-section and everything was fine...I hope this is the case for you.

I had Julia at 38 weeks for the same reasons, I had hypertention (high BP). Lots of and 's for you!!

I had DD naturally at 37 weeks and she is totally perfect....the doctors will do what is best for both of you.

The end of your pregnancy sounds kinda like mine. Baby Brontosaurus is fine after being born at week 38 and can't wait to find out if he has a girlfriend coming or a buddy!

Oh DD is jealous 
D, I'm sure you'll be fine...I know its frustrating...in a few weeks you'll have your DC in your arms & this all w/b a distant memory.
