I'm an even worse mommy - my thinking is Cailen has survived this far - I'm sure he'll be ok!!!

Some of them were due to high lead levels. Leads a scary thing for babies/kids. Even small levels can cause nuerological issues.

I'm not going to take that type of chance.

the boppy website said that the velvet ones had zippers that can fall off and be a choking hazard. There wasnt any mention of lead in the page I read.

Donna...Im interested in that link if u have it...if I can prevent it I will and try.
especially until they can prove with a doubt with so many neuologolical diseases...please pass it on! tia!!!!!!!!!!!

exactly....Who knows if some of the illness's are attributed to it?

Im not trying to be a worrywart, Im FAR from it, but I dont want to take risks I can avoid.

We dont know these days why we are sick...I may have "survived" my own childhood, but I do have issues healthwise as do many that are unexplainable.

where is the UPC or date code on the slipcover?

I have blue velvet on one side and the other is a blue/white box pattern.
