Less than 6 wks to go and i'm so not organized

1. shower was this past weekend - his room is a mess.

2. none of his clothes are washed.

3. closet in his room need to be clean out cuz we're using it as storage right now.

4. my bag is not packed.

5. haven't seen or spoken to the pediatrian yet.

6. if i can remember everything i'm missing, i won't have to make a million trip to BRU!

Don't feel bad. My due date is 19 days away and the only thing on your list I've done is wash some (not all) clothes.

I'm just as bad as you are. We haven't opened the closet in the baby's room yet because I don't want to see what's in there. I know it's filled from floor to ceiling though. And my shower is this saturday.

I am due in 4 weeks and the only thing on your list I have done is the room.
My big items from my shower are all in my living room in boxes, the babies clothes are all over my dining room table, I have barely thought of packing my hospital bag and my OB keeps telling me to call the pediatrician!

I figure if I did it all so early I wouldnt have anything to do in these last few weeks! Dont worry it will all come together!

I'm with you ladies... have good and bad days. some days I get so overwhelmed I have complete mental breakdown...other days I think I'm in a good place. On top of it all I have some medical issues which mean this baby is probably coming early so I have even less time......I jsut try and tell myself eventually it wil lall fall into place....at least I hope

Dont feel bad--I have less than 6 weeks to go also and Im on bedrest for pre-term labor so it could happen earlier. Ive called the pediatricion already, but thats about it. If you know which one you are using, then its no big deal. All they said to me when I called is to give the drs name when I go to the hospital.
We are getting a rug in the baby's room installed next week, and then will have the furniture delivered, havent washed any clothes yet and havent packed my bag yet.(although I will hopefully be packing my bag this week-Im just waiting on getting my nursing bras in the mail)
None of the stuff you need to do is mandatory before you have the baby. Plenty of people go into labor very early and have nothing ready(i can attest to that!) and it all works out. Dont stress...it will all get done and if it doesnt, no big deal!!

I have less than 4 weeks and have no motivation to do anything more to prepare. I do have my bag packed and just washed a bunch of baby clothes on Sunday, but the rest is going to wait until afterwards.

As long as I have a place for the baby to sleep, I am OK with it and will just get it done later.
