ahhh
just had to get this out...i just paid off 2 of my credit cards!!! wooo hoo what a relief only 2 more to go and with the holidays coming up i CANT use credit cards

Yep! We just have the payments and it is what it is. If everything goes as planned our CC will be paid off by the end of next year! And still leave us money to put into savings.

I too am on the attempt to pay off as much as possible before the baby. I know to aim to be completely debt free by then is unrealistic, I want to be down to only one credit card if possible, then there's still student loans, the car and the mortgage... and lets not forget childcare and medical bills incurred from the pregnancy and birth and beyond until the annual max kicks in. There's always something... I'm also trying to leave a little something for me to enjoy, I was leaving myself pretty strapped and it was frustrating and depressing, I didn't even want to go to work. Since easing up, I may not meet my goal completely (or should consider restructuring it a bit) but I'll be happier and less stressed.
