Do you have one of those friends...
that ALWAYS have some kind of major drama going on their lives? Whenever you talk to them it's "you won't BELIEVE what happened to me now!" or "didn't I tell you about how I almost died?" Well, you get the idea.
Do you think these people thrive off the drama in their lives and just keep consciously or subconciously bringing it into their lives? Or does crazy stuff just seem happen to them?

One of my friends is like that...she just has the most extraordinary bad luck of any person I met but despite the numerous tragedies/incidents she had to endure -- she is basically good natured and not overly dramatic about it at all.

I have people like that in my life...sometimes its bad luck and sometimes I feel that they create the drama for themselves. My head hurts from talking to them and hearing the constant drama.

My friend brings it on herself whether she intends to or not. She's an alcoholic and is constanly putting herself in dangerous positions. We've tried to get her help but to no avail. I've actually had to distance myself just for my own sanity

I used to have a friend who is a true DRAMA QUEEN....but after awhile I decided that I needed to seperate myself from all her issues.
I was tired of listening to problems that she caused herself.
My cousin is not a Drama Queen....but things seem to happen to her...and even though some are scart scenerios...she has a way of telling the story with a humorous spin....so I don't mind listening to all the crazy things that happen to her...because by the end of the story I am LMAO.

Oh good God - YES!!! Everything is a catastrophe and, when there's nothing going on, she creates something. It becomes more and more trying to maintain a friendship with her the older we get.
You know, sometimes when you're asked "What's going on?", "Nothing" is an acceptable answer

I have one like that! Every time we talk on the phone it is like an hour conversation and I usually dont say more that 5 words the whole time!

yes! My cousin...she's always suing someone and having drama all over the place. So I try to avoid her as much as I can.

yes--I have a friend like that. She knows she brings some of it on, but I'm not sure she realizes how much.
She has been in numerous fights in HS & she always says that she never started them, but I Think she did provoke them, even if she didn''t throw the first punch.
She is also always sick ( strep, brochitis, etc) That seems like it wouldn't be her fault, but the constant smoking, drinking, staying out late, &hookignup with random people can't be good for her respiratory system, especially since she has asthma to start with.

One of my cousins is like this...she's not happy unless there's drama in her life and of course, it's never HER fault.
Also, I had a friend like this...she got arrested, it wasn't her fault, the repo man took her car, that wasn't her fault either...I could go on and on about her and finally I had to end the relationship.

YESSSS...... And they also know everything about everything .and it is always about them ...Ex: her I have a headache ME: I understand I hate that PAIN her: OH YEAH WELL IT ISN"T JUST A HEADACHE IT IS A MIGRANE WITH TUMORS AND MY EYE CAN GO BLIND AND blah blah blah ... VENT OVER

OMG YES. I finally had to end the friendship. It was crazy. banging my door down at 2am in complete hysterica, calling at all hours of the day/night, driving me and DH crazy. Nothing was ever GOOD - everything was always BAD and everyone was always a "d*ck" or a "b*tch" and she even lost 2 jobs I helped her get...made me look real good (ugh)

My friend is always like this!! Everytime I turn around it's "OH MY GOSH!!! I HAVE TO TELL YOU WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME!!! YOU'LL NEVER GUESS!!" She drives me crazy, I am soooo tired of hearing about the nonsense she has to tell me. I would just like a nice conversation about life for once!

Exactly like selling a home when you tell them the price they are like R U Kidding that is way to high ummm really my broker said that is perfect and she is like well i helped so & so sell a house and I repriced it and it sold ohhh ok your right maybe you should come with me to my Dr. and perform my procedures to since you are soooooooo knowledgable yet you work for a S***hole and have no college degree in anything
