Doing the AFP blood work on Monday...
What should I expect? How long does it take to get the results back usually? Is it a lot of blood? I ask that b/c I've been dizzy and fainting lately... if it's a good amount I'll ask if I can lay down for the blood to be drawn and have something salty to eat before and after.

This is a quick and easy one! Its one vile, nothing more than they take to confirm a pregnancy.
But if you have blood issues eat before hand, and have a drink with you. There is no reason not to.
I think it only takes a few days to get the results, but every lab may be different.
