Went to hospital last night
I didn't feel the baby move all day yesterday. I tried drinking OJ, laying on my side ect. So finally by 10pm I was in full blown panic and called the Dr. He told me to go to the hospital immediatly so they could hook me up to a monitor. I am almost 30 weeks.
It was such a relief when we got there to hear the HB. They did a sono and said I have an anterior placenta and she must have been having a lazy day so her movements were muffled. You could actually see her kicking and the Dr was saying "can you feel that?" and I couldn't. Evenetually though I felt one or two when I really consentrated. The Dr said everything was fine. She even showed me her ribs moving up and down to show that she was breathing.
I feel kinda silly now and that I overreacted but I knew if we didn't go I would never have been able to sleep last night. Poor DH had to be up for work at 4am this morning.

I also had an anterior placenta so it wasn't easy for DH to feel her kick. Glad everything is ok!!

Glad everything is OK Nicole. Dont feel silly, you didnt overreact at all. I think most preggos would have done the same thing.
