Boy bedding?
I'm having so many issues with finding boy bedding that I like. I'm looking for something that doesn't have cars...sports...or animals on it. I know i'm being extremely picking but does anyone have any suggestions? I want spend about $250 and need it to go with a chestnut crib.

Re: Boy bedding?
Are you into geometric patterns, perhaps? There are some cute boy patterns with stripes and circles.

They have some cute things at BBB. But, it you want to save money, I would avoid the crib sets. You can mix and match crib sheets, crib dust ruffle and bumper for much less. You don't really need the blanket for now.
I saw a carters cabana stripe dust ruffle in blue - you could put that with a plain blue crib sheet or with a pattern. Then you can find a nice bumper to bring it together.
ETA: Look also at Layla Grace - they have beautiful bedding that you can supplement with less expensive crib sheets and receiving blankets from BRU or BBB.

Re: Boy bedding?
I just ordered "Tyson's Airplane" from Pottery Barn. I wanted something that would last awhile (not so babyish). I also did not want pastel colors. Originally, I was thinking about animals (Petite Safari from BRU), but my DH and I could not agree on an animal set we liked, so we decided to go in a different direction all together. Check out Pottery Barn Kids, you might find something you like.

I chose Good Night Star from Lambs and Ivy.
I liked the look and it was under $200.00.
I didn't want sports, or anything like that, and I did want something a little babyish..it's for a baby's room! Image Attachment(s):

We love it too. We have a honey colored crib and I love it. My mom got two light blue Carter's crib sheets to go with it and it looks great!

We bought Choo Choo from Baby Gap. It's on clearance, although the sheets must be sold out:

We also liked Twinkle Twinkle from PBK.

Re: Boy bedding?
Dawn, how about this? If I have another boy one day, this is what I'm getting. It also comes in a girl pattern.
It's from Walmart (believe it or not) and it's only 79 dollars!!

Re: Boy bedding?
I have the Goodnight Star bedding also--I didn't want cars, trucks, etc. either. I keep thinking he'll want that when he's older, now I want something cute.
You could also go with some animal theme--this is one I also liked:
Zoofari
It comes from Buy Buy Baby.

Re: Boy bedding?
If you're going to go for seperate crib sheets. Go to Pottery Barn kids and get their chamois fitted crib sheet. It is fuzzy and soft!!!!
