Anyone have gallstones after being pg?
My alkaline levels are continuing to elevate which is normal during pg. Three and a half months later and my numbers should be going down - not up.
I know gallstones is one of the possibilities - anyone have this problem?

Yes. I did! DS was born in Jan. and in June, I went to bed one night and at 1AM had the WORST attack EVER!
I had some pains here and there before that (we tested for appendicitis and that test was inconclusive). The pain would come and go.
I ended up being admitted through ER and having the surgery 2 nights later.

I did with Amaya-Had my first attack when she was a month old and had to have it removed. Its the worst pain known to woman  Unfortunately even with my gallbladder removed I still have residual pain sometimes.

Aside from my blood work showing blood levels rising I'm not feeling any pain anywhere.
Should I be?

My friend's wife had them really bad after she had her DS and wound up having her gallbladder removed.

I had a lot of pain, mainly the night of the attack. You will feel it..Trust Me.
I don't want to get you scared or nervous, but, I don't want to lie either.
I hope you feel better.

Actually today is the 3 year anniversary of my panratitas attack that left me in the hospital for a week with Dh taking care of my 4.5 month old DD at the time. I had to wait for Liver level to come back down and had the surgery 3 weeks later...
It is a very common side effect of pregnancy...
