Re: Baby Clothes

The measurement of the baby is usually off by .5-1pd. so with that said if you have more than 2 pckgs of the side snack shirts than I would return the remainder and keep one package and get another size up 3-6mths.
As for the short sleeve outfits, are they 0-3, than I would return, if they are 3-6 I would keep them and layer for Spring.

You prob. will find out at your next visit. or when you are 36 weeks??? I can't remember when I was told with Laur. Also a sonogram can determine the weight. It's never really accurate, but close.

Re: Baby Clothes

I heard a rumor that the hospital will give you side snap shirts- do a post about your hospital to see what freebies people scored. If you can get 3 side snappers, I would return the others and buy diapers!

The short sleeve outfits- are they onsies? I would keep some onsies. But if they're complete little outfits, in 0-3 month- I would exchange them for th esame outfit in a larger size if I could. Keeps the gesture in tact.

That is just an estimate. I wouldn't touch anything until your baby arrives. With DS they were accurate with all his measurements and even the way I was carring was accurate. With DD I was measuring about 1-2 weeks behind, the 20 week sono and the growth sono at 36 weeks measured her to be in the 47th% for her weight and my dr. assured me that the most she would be was 7lbs. Well when it came time to push I couldn't figure out why it felt so difficult (I know it sounds weird but my kids are only 15 months apart and DS was 8lbs so a small baby should have been easy to push out), well DD came in weighing 8.13oz.

It could also happen the other way too.
