How do you clean binkies??

How do you clean binkies??

I know this probably has an obvious answer. But can you clean them in the dishwasher???

I'm not a mom yet but I recently read an article that said for first time use, put it in boiling water to sterilize. Going forward you would wash it under cold water.

Not sure about putting it in the dishwasher.

I used to run the bottles, sippy cups and binkies in the dishwasher under the sanitize cycle. worked like a charm!

i sterilized them the first time, and now i just rinse them with warm water.

when everyone says sterilized do they boil a pot of water and drop the stuff in it? using no soap?

yup, just boil a pot of water and put the stuff in for a few minutes.

When DD was an infant/newborn I would boil them first then everytime I sterlized her bottles I would through her binky in with them. Now when I first get them I boil them and wash them with soap and hot water. I make sure to rinse them very well to get the soap off.

my son doesn't take a pacifier, but thats what I see most moms do!
