Progesterone question
Is 15 an okay number for 5 weeks pregnant?
A doctor from my practice was comfortable with it, stating it was normal/average but I did a search and it seems that although it is in the "comfort zone" it is on the lower side.
I almost wish I accepted the doctor's opinion that it was normal, instead of asking what the exact number was and then googling it like a madwoman.

Re: Progesterone question
I replied to your other post but mine was 14 and they were fine with it. Said it was a little low but didn't do anything about it. I am now 28w2d.

Re: Progesterone question
Thanks for your reply and for reassuring me. I miscarried my last pregnancy and now am paranoid.
I am going to call the office today and see if my doctor is in and ask him about it.

Re: Progesterone question
I think that is ok, but like you said - on the lower side of the comfort zone.

Re: Progesterone question
You can always insist on suppositories. My progesterone was all over the place. My first blood test it was 17 and then it eventually got down to 12 and they prescribed the suppositories.

Re: Progesterone question
My level was 10.8 (at my 5 week visit) and I was put on Progesterone suppositories for 3 months (but it was only 2 months).

Re: Progesterone question
Thanks everyone.
I talked to the doc and since it went up from one blood test to another, he is okay with it and told me not to worry.
I am getting more blood done tomorrow. If the numbers don't increase, then I will go for the next step.
Thanks for your replies
