Re: How are you with Tums?
I wouldn't have made it through pregnancy without them.
Have you tried other over the counter stuff like Pepcid or Zantac?

Re: How are you with Tums?
Have you tried the Tums Smoothies? In the beginning they were easier for me. Also I only take 1 at a time instead of the 2 on the label

Re: How are you with Tums?
Agreed. I Tums and would be a vile toxic human being without them. They are at my desk at work and in my medicine cabinet at home (in 2 different flavors just in case). I happily share, but try to take them away and I become savage.

Re: How are you with Tums?
yeah they aren't my favorite thing, but they have been coming in handy. I would suggest the smoothies...they are a lil better than the others!

Re: How are you with Tums?
Try TUMS Smoothies. They are much better. May not make you sick b/c they aren't chalky like TUMS.

Re: How are you with Tums?
I don't have much heartburn, but I take them for the Calcium... even though I too have had calcium kindney stones in the past (which you'd be surprised at what foods cause them, like tea - I've never been told to avoid regular calcium products, only foods that contain some chemical that promotes the stones - forgot what it's called off hand... oh and no cranberry juice either - good for UTI, bad for stones).
I'm on Lovenox and the high risk doctor told me to take Tums EX as a calcium suppliment b/c long term Lovenox (More than 6 months) can lead to calcium defficiency and bone loss.
