Are all presents from Santa???
Does your child think that all the presents under the tree are from Santa, or do you put some there from mom and dad too???
DS is too young to know or care (he'll be 8 months for Christmas), but growing up, my parents had some from Santa and some from them.
My DH has two boys (8 and 10 - they both still believe in Santa - or at least they say they do because they think they'll get more stuff!), and he always makes all the presents come from Santa.
What does everyone do???

All presents will be from Mommy and Daddy (or whoever bought them). We're not into the "gifts from Santa" thing, although we will be teaching DC about Santa, and what he represents, etc.
Don't worry, I'll still volunteer to be Santa at the GTG, and DS won't "spill the beans" about Santa, either...

Growing up, Santa gave the toys and mom and dad gave the clothes, etc.
I think I am going to do something a little different. I think I'm going to leave Santa's gifts out ofthe box and unwrapped. But I'm not positive yet.

I know a family who did this. They opened AND put together all of the toys, so that everything was out on display, ready to play with on Christmas morning. The kids loved it!!!! A lot of work for the parents on Christmas Eve though!!!

That's what I was thinking! But it's easier when they're younger. but as they get older and all the stuff requires assembly

This is what my parents did, and what we do for our kids. There are gifts from us that are wrapped as well.

Growing up they were all from Santa, so I think we will do that as well.
But we are going to be in NY for Christmas this year so I guess "santa" is leaving my DD gifts from DH and I at home.

Someone once told me that she only makes a few gifts from Santa and the rest from her. That way if she can't afford a lot of Christmas gifts one year the kids aren't disappointed at Santa. I kind of liked that
