what kind of candy (or other thing) are you giving out?
we're giving out 1 small crunch bar and 1 small bag of chewy sweet tarts per kid. We have enough for 40. Last year, we had approx 35 trick or treaters and it was a Saturday

I was going to be giving out the new Take 5 bars and a Twix, but someone  ate them all (me...) so I had to buy more, and I bought tootsie roll pops and mini bags of pretzels. Each kid'll get a bag of pretzels and a pop. We didn't live here last year so I have no idea how many we'll get.

I am giving out one piece of candy and I tied on a McDonalds gift certificate to each piece of candy with ribbon. They came out cute!!

we doubt we'll have any trick or treaters. We live all the way at the end in the back and their are very few houses around us so I doubt anyone thinks people actually live back there. Plus no one is going to want to drive down the sidestreet with all the holes and cracks in the street. I am bringing cookies to work on my day off just to see my co-workers all dressed up

We hardly get trick or treaters anymore but we bought an assortment bag, whoppers and those m&m bars. All things we like in case we dont get any like usual.

purchased two bags of blow pops. we closed on Friday so I will only be in our new place for part of the day since the painter will be there and paint smells yucky. I am not sure if we will even get trick or treaters....

Last year was our first year here and my husband bought FULL SIZE CANDY bars from BJs. Well now we have to keep it up because we got a ton of trick or treaters last year. (Over 50 easily). DH thinks we're now "the cool house" for Halloween and he's sure we'll get egged if we give out the Goldfish that I bought!

Nothing - by the time we get home from work all the kids are finished!
I remember one Halloween after I quit my job so I was home and there were tons of kids....I had so much fun!
