ack, this gagging!!
I have the nausea under control, but the gagging is nonstop. I look at something at immediately the response is totally visual in my face. Someone mentioned the word "pork" this morning and I was all 'gag faced'. It's completely embarassing and hard to control.
Oh, and forget it when I go to brush my teeth or take pills-

Yeah, my gag reflex was so sensitive the first trimester that smells or commercials would have me running for the bathroom. I had to take zofran, but now I don't and I'm much better. Pregnancy is fun

I am taking zofran and it does take away the nausea but my gag reflex is still so sensitive.. Smells, commercials, pictures, talking, it's all terrible.

coughing is deadly...I cant cough...I gag or vomit...
try hard candy or lolli pops, I noticed that I gag less after eating one

I hated brushing my teeth... always lead to the toilet and brushing again , constant repeat..
Worse than that was when i had to deal with a patient that hadnt showered in weeks, and doing there mammo... oooh mannn the gagging..

I went thru that to. I would walk down the street and smell whatever random smell and start gagging. IMO it's worse than throwing up, because you never get that release.

I feel your pain too!
The poor girl who faces me each day has to see my lovely gagging expressions. She said one day I'm just going vomit right in front of her, she's just patiently waiting for that moment to occur

Consider yourself lucky! Some days I wake up because I have to throw up...its awful!
