Should I be concerned?

I'm 25.5 weeks and over the past couple weeks, I've been feeling the baby ALOT. DH has been able to feel it, my stomach actually moves, etc.

But over the past 5 or 6 days or so, I've been feeling the baby less. I still feel her everyday, but it's not as frequent, and the location of where I feel her has changed. I feel her lower now.

Do you think I should be concerned? Or could she have just changed to a position where I feel her less?

TIA!

probably just changed positions, but if you want peace of mind call your OB.

Re: Should I be concerned?

I'm thinking she's running out of space, because that's what's happening to me. I'm starting to see elbows and knees and possibly even a little butt (coming straight out of the front of my belly Chat Icon ) but I'm not feeling the same constant bouncing and kicking that I felt a week ago. Now it's more like squirming.

Call your OB if you're worried, but I think it's normal.

you are fine. I barely felt DD. I had a NST almost daily and I would hear her on the machine but not feel alot of movement. However you should feel some sort of movement daily.

You might want to talk to your doctor (for your own piece of mind if nothing else), but I remember not having much movement around that time too. Then it picked up again at some point. Towards the end, I hear they slow down again since there is no room.

Also, I always feel more movement if I lie down and drink some water or eat some food. You could try that and see if you feel anything.

I'm sure your baby is fine! Not all babies are very active, and I think some go through quieter periods. I wouldn't worry unless you are feeling no movement at all.

I remember I had the same exact thing. I felt her more in the 25 Weeks, and than less. I think its totally normal.

Are you busier than before? She may also be moving just as much but you notice less because you are occupied more.
