moldy smell in carpet
i went away for a week left a water bowl for my cats on the carpet in "their room"
now i know they dumped it while i was gone my cat sitter said she had to refill
so now its dry and smells moldy
sooooo how do i get a moldy yucky smell out of the carpet (anything easier then a carpet cleaner machine?)

Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't . . . but you can try putting down 1/2 cup of baking soda, let it sit for at least 3-4 hours or overnight and then vacuum.
