How long did it take for you to get your blood results?
My OB sent me to a lab last Thursday morning to get all my blood work done. My OB said they will have the results right away. When I arrived at the lab the woman said, these are big tests and may take about 4 days.
I have yet to hear from my doctor with the results. I was thinking of calling but I'm scared even though I know I don't have anything to be concerned about.
Do you think if there was a problem I would have received a phone call by now?
Added - This was my very first blood test as I am 5w/4d.

do you know what the tests were? if it was just a serum beta to confirm the pregnancy it shouldn't take more than a day, although it depends on which lab they use, etc.

No, they already confirmed my pregnancy. It was the usual, Protegerone, HCG levels, anemia, HIV and other STD's...etc. There were a bunch more but I can't remember.

You normally do not get the results until you see the doctor for the next visit unless something came back positive. They are routine tests for first time visits. If you want, call. they will tell you the results.

It took a few weeks for me to get back all the results of my first bw b/c some of the tests is DNA related and takes awhile.

I also replied to your FM, but another thing I just realized is that Monday was Colombus Day, so they may have been closed. So, 4 business days is either today or tomorrow depending on if they counted Thursday. It hasn't been that long then. I'd call though, just to put your mind at ease.

I waited 4 days, and then called..they gave me my beta level over of the phone, but said they didnt have all of the test results back yet

My doctor didn't call me with the results of these tests, they just went over the results at my next appt.

Thank you all for your response. I guess it also has to do with each doctor, everyone's doctor is different. Some call no matter what the results are and others just simply wait until the next appt. My problem is, I never been to this OB before so I'm not quite sure how her office works.
Oh well, I will give it another day or two and take it from there.

Me too. My doctor said they only call if something's wrong. When we first TTC, I had the genetic testing done, and I never got a call - they told me they don't call if everything is fine, and confirmed that at my next appt.
I just had my bloodwork done today - 7 vials  I'm just waiting until my next appointment in 4 weeks to hear about the results.

I felt really weak for the rest of that morning until about lunch time. I had a nice size lunch and drank lots of water which made me feel much better.
Hope we don't have to do that again for a long time

Thankfully, I was fine after mine - I drove straight back to the office and ate lunch. When I went for the genetic testing bloodwork, they took 13 vials!!!
