crv and civic drivers.. opinions
it lookes like dh is getting the 2008 crv and i am getting the 2008 civic.. any thought, opinions on these cars.
I have the 2 door accord now and my mom had the 4 door. But our lease is up and my other car was in an accident and is 10 years old so its looks like we are leasing both YIKES.

I have a '98 Civic EX (only 64k miles  )...I love it. It's small yet roomy and peppy. Great on gas.

I have an '01 civic, its a great car with great gas mileage.
Since you have kids, definitley get the 4 door. The back of the 2 door (which I have now) is teeny.

Dh has the civic, and I have a '99 CRV (bought it in '02). I have over 140K miles, and so far so good.

I've had the Civic and now have an Accord. Both are great cars. I would assume the CRV is good too. I'm considering that for my next car.

Both are great. I love my CRV. My lease is up in a year, and really want something larger, and am unfortunately not a fan of the Pilot . . . .
I have leased both and have been very happy- I will miss my CRV . . .

We have an 06 crv and are very happy with it. A few of our friends have them as well. One thing that is great about the 07 and 08 models is the back door opens up instead of out.

My mom has a 2007 civic and before that she had a corolla. I like the looks of the civic better, but overall i liked the corolla better. I felt that the drive was a lot smoother and the backseat was roomier. But you cant go wrong with either.
