Do you think it's silly to tattoo your entire body?
I just saw Kat from L.A. ink on Ellen and her entire body (except boobs) is covered in tattoos.
Would you do this? Not knocking anyone who likes this, because she looks nice w/it...but I wonder, do people take into consideration how they will look when they are older?

Personally it's not for me. I don't have any tattoos so I obviously wouldn't cover my body in them.

It would be silly for someone like me to cover my entire body in tattoos! I'd never get a job looking like that!

I would love to have a tatoo- but when someone gets to that point, I think its ridiculous because I cant even focus on one particular tat to see how great it looks.

I wouldn't do it...... different strokes for different folks though......I think Kat looks hot with all of them...I aslo have so much respect for all the artists.... they have such amazing talent.......

its' not for me either..but I do agree it looks good on her because that is her lifestyle. I especially love the stars on her face. Kudos to her for doing so..but not my thing.

I think it is important to consider what life may bring a person if they are inclined to tattoo themselves from head to toe. If a person is free spirited enough to do it, more power to them. I have a few tattoos myself, but I chose their placements carefully.
Do I think it is silly for anyone else to do it? That's a judgment I am in no position to make.

and for the record...I think Kat is the only person ever to look good in tattoos... I guess my Brother too, but after awhile I didn't even see them on him anymore.

I don't see a problem with it. As long as they are willing to deal with a society that, in general, does not appreciate it.
I wonder about any body mutilation. Tattoos, implants, piercings (including earrings....) Why does anyone need to modify their body?
For those that don't like it, think it's "silly" or "gross", "ugly", etc., what is the cut-off point? Is one tattoo silly? Are pierced ears? How about pierced tongue/eyebrow/nether regions?
I have no body modifications, except for waaayyyyy to many surgical scars....
