Zoysia plugs..anyone do this...
My bro recommends getting zoysia plugs and replacing different areas of the lawn slowly. Right now our lawn is all weeds. Did this work well for anyone? Is it expensive to do? Once you have the plugs how do you do it?

We have a few small bare patches that our neighbor recommended we fill in with zoysia plugs. But the garden centers in our area have already stopped selling the plugs for the season. Apparently you're supposed to do it in the spring/early summer.

We have zoysia - DH put it in pre-me. Just wanted to tell you it wears really well. You just have to dethatch in the spring.

I'm planning on doing plugs in our front yard this spring. It takes years for it to fill in but its very durable.
