Leaky Bottles
I use Avent, with size 1 nipples. Sometimes they leak -- and yes I pull the nipple in tight, and close it tight.
Any recommendations on bottles that do NOT leak? Anyone else have this problem??

Re: Leaky Bottles
I remember someone posting here that Avent bottles leak when they are screwed on too tight. I thought it was odd, but it worked.

Re: Leaky Bottles
Yes they definitely leak when you tighten them all the way. You would THINK that you are supposed to tight them all the way but not advent you just tight them just enough. I can't even begin to tell you the mess that my couch was.

they only leak if the cap is NOT screwed on correctly, or too tight

Re: Leaky Bottles
When I called Avent about it, they told me not to over tighten the top. Solved my leaky bottle problem.

Just make sure you aren't over tightening the cap

Re: Leaky Bottles
I know exactly what you are talking about. My Avents leak too, from the ring. I like Dr. Brown but they are a pain to wash except when you get to put them in the dishwasher. Drop- ins are nice but are not good for babies over 6 or 7 months as even their fast flow nipples are slow.
