Brit on the Emmys???
Why???? She needs to just go away!!!!!
OnThursday night, a source told Usmagazine.com that Emmy producers were in talks with Britney Spears’ people to get her on Sunday’s awards show. Today, a rep for the show tells Us, “We cannot confirm nor deny this rumor.”
Spears, whose television credits include a guest role on Will & Grace and a Saturday Night Live hosting gig, opened last week’s MTV Video Music Awards with a half-hearted performance of her new single, “Gimme More.” A source at the Emmys tells Us that “"the idea is to have her come on and apologize for the VMAs. She's weighing the offer.

Why would she do this?
If she wants another shot at a come back she should work her butt off and put on a kick a$$ show at the Emmys. NOT apologize.

I don't understand why she has to apologize. There have been many crappy performances from people that they didn't apologize for. I don't get it.

Apologize??? Wow, that's humiliating....she needs to lay low for a while and then I think people will be ready to see her again. And no matter what, I do think people root for her and want a comeback...but now, she needs to chill! I don't think saying she's "sorry" will do a thing for her.

I think Brit's problem is that too many people have told her what to do for so long, she's now a mess trying to find her own identity
.. she doesn't need to apologize to anyone for her performance

She shouldn't apologize, - She should rehire her stylist, publicist, makeup artist, hairstylist, trainer, nutritionist, choreographer, producer, manager etc etc etc and GET HER LIFE AND CAREER back on track -
She's Britney Spears for God's sake -
She was a 17 year old KID captivating an audience of THOUSANDS - the girl still has the potential to be absolutely AMAZING .........She just needs a good does of reality and a swift kick in the A S S

i actually think that without all the smoke and mirrors she really is just average.
With all the marketing help and her handlers they manufactured her. I really think she can't do it without the team of professionals that make her look good.
Her performance the other night really confirms for me that she is nothing without her team of experts.
