Well not really "What has she done to me" ..
BUT....I have paid her in the past to listen to her music. She is in a profession where you get millions of dollars for a few hours hard work.
Therefore, if you screw up, Im gonna call you on it. Because your life is CAKE. If she was a hard working Mom who worked 9-5 everyday, I would say she was sad and troubled.
B/C shes a star yet still chooses a personal style liking that of Skant, and a nightclub lifestyle versus take care of her Two under Two..... well I get to make fun of her and disrespect her B/c she choose this life and made these choices.
We all get choices...........

I'm really not sure why you care so much about what we talk about here??? Seriously, why does it bother you? I would be more bothered at the millions of opportunities that she has been given and just tossed away. Regular people don't get opportuntities like that.
There are plenty of young actresses/singers that aren't followed by the paparazzi 24/7. Why? Because they engage in NORMAL behavior that no one would pay $.02 to see. The fact of the matter is the tabloids exist to draw a distinct line between celebrities and normal people. When she starts acting like a normal 25 year old, mother of 2, I'm pretty sure the paps will get sick of her. But keep going out without undies, bad hair extensions and partying hard every night while your two young kids are god knows where - and they are going to follow you! I'm not sure why that is such a hard concept for Britney to understand, unless she is loving the attention (which I suspect she is)!!

Here is my take on the whole thing. Celebrity gossip is entertainment to me. I don't know why, but it is. And I am not the only once since boards like this exist, and it is a multi $$$ industry.
Now personally, I don't belive the paparazzi are right. I think they are totally invasive. But we live in a media based society and have for quite some while. It is a strong belief among some that JFK won the election against Nixon based upon his appearance at the debate. While JFK was handsome and smiling, Nixon was sweating under the lights. Once TV poppoed into everyone's home, we became a visually based society. And now with technology, it has gone very far.
That being said, whether Brittany was pushed into the spotlight by an overbearing mother or chose it for herself, she continues to work at her career. She could retire, but she choses not too. The girl has more money than most people will make in their lifetime (like me) by 25. But she contines to have this career.
She also choses to live a life that sells papers. She could disappear and live a quiet life. She could go home to Lousianna and take her kids to mommy and me groups and soccer practice and go to the grocery store and living a very boring life that would bore the paparazzi (and the public) a la Demi Moore circa mid 1990's.
But no, she choses to party in Vegas and go clubbing without underwear.
In addition, regarding her career (and the VMA awards), she could have chosen to work until the routine was perfect. Instead, she was out until the wee hours of the morning partying. She could have taken her rehersal seriously, but instead she chose to show up late with margarita in hand (according to the stories). She could have insisted on wearing something more flattering, instead she chose ot go out there wearing the bikini.
Now this could have been her big comeback. Americans LOVE to give people second chances. If she looked great and was great, it would have a total success and comeback. But based upon her choices, it wasn't.
So while I feel bad for a second when people (like Sarah Silverman) publically trash her and tear up, I don't feel bad for things like this. She will never read it, and frankly if we wren't talking about her, she wouldn't have much of a career.
Also, I have info fom an inside source at US weekly that those stars who are begging the paparzzi to leave them alone are tipping off the paparazzi as to where they are going to be to make sure they get their picture taken
ETA: Maybe a week off work is not so good for me.

Wow, seriously, this just screams Chris Crocker.
I'm really not sure why this bothers you so much...do YOU know her personally? You defend her so staunchly...but honestly, it's all based on YOUR opinion (of course, unless you know her personally). So how is your opinion any different than what everyone else is saying? It's not...it just isn't what the majority is thinking.
Sorry you've been offended but I wouldn't really worry too much about it - unless, of course, it affects you personally or something.

When I watch some of her old perfomances I think "what happened to this girl??" It's sad, that someone so talented has become what she has become.
I was always a Britney fan, despite being ridiculed by friends, and I hope that she can get out of this mess.
She worked very hard since she was so young, and sometimes fame like that can just make you snap. We've seen it happen to so many child stars. Some are lucky to escape it, some not.
We can all sit here and sacastically say, boo-hoo Britney, poor little rich girl. But NONE of us has been in the spotlight, being picked apart for EVERY little thing that we do.
How many mom's out there do you think drive with their kids on the laps??
How many of us have gotten out of a car to have some photog taking a picture from the ground to get a crotch shot??
Granted these mistakes could be avoided, but she is a PERSON and makes mistakes.
I hope she recovers from this.

She has family that wants to help, a father of her kids that is in their life, roof over her head, food in the fridge...she needs to get her act together for her kids. She was a child star. Maybe she did not chose it, but that's what she was and that's in the past.

I just feel sad for Britney...and when it seems as though she risks her child's life (no seatbelt, front of the car, on and on) people go from sad to MAD. Then, every single thing does just annoys people. People say, she has all this money, and still, she presents herself like a piece of trash. SHE has kinda brought this on herself. And people here are free to say what they please. Now, I'm not one for MEAN comments, but a little ribbing and joking; hey, that's kinda all in good fun. I'm sorry you feel that sometimes it gets mean, though.  People would kill for wealth and/or healthy children....she seems to take all that for granted.

i dont agree with alot of her choices in life....
i am just saying that some of the things people say about her on here is absolutely shocking, heartless and irrelevant. (this can go for other celebs too, i am just choosing her since she is the one plastered all over the boards and gets the most crap)
obviously we are all entitled to our opinions, its just the extreme that some people take it too that makes me  .
she is human.
and i never watched that Chris Cocker thing... and i still dont feel the need to. i saw a 2 second clip and turned it off, it seemed as if he was acting.

She knew her va jay jay was going to show when she got out of the car, how could you not?
She's recorded videos of herself and posted them on the web, talking about rehab and whatnot. She wants the attention.

Here's my 2cents........
If seeing a post titled "Britney" makes you mad then don't open it! If you don't like celebrity gossip feel free to post on one of the other 20 or so boards. She gets picked on because she's famous! She asked for this. She has gone more then out of her way to stay involved in the public eye. She is by NO means a "normal" 25yo. I am also 25 and here are a few things I would like to share about being normal.....
1. I wear underware
2. I WORK for my money and do not get paid to fake what I do during the VMA's
3. I wear clothing that COVERS my body!
4. I do NOT go out every night because I have to much other stuff to do like laundry, cleaning, cooking, or TIVO.
5. I am so sick of this crap.
SHE decided to be famous. SHE decided to marry somone for 50hrs. SHE decided to marry Kevin. SHE decided to have children. SHE decided to drive with her kid in her lap. SHE decided to not wear underware and CLIMB into the back seat. SHE decided to wear a sweatshirt as a dress. SHE decided to shave her head, and now I am supposed to feel bad for her?
GIVE ME A BREAK!!!! Welcome to being a star! She has been involved in this for 9yrs. She knows how to play the game and up until she married whats his name she was america's sweetheart. It is sad that her life is unfolding around her, but again SHE decided this was the path for her.

I agree too- I'm going to reserve my sympathy for women who really need it, and she doesn't. She has the means to buy a great house in the middle of nowhere, raise her kids and keep a low profile. She could even build her own recording studio and make a comeback in five years. Instead, she resorts to ridiculous behavior and I do question what kind of mom she is to those kids.

She is 25 but 25 year olds should be mature especially since she had 2 children THANK GOD they aren't with her!
