Where do you live and what are your taxes?
It is getting insane here on Long Island. We live in West Islip, small 3 bedroom ranch- nothing fancy. We just got raised to $8600..
Why?????????????????????????
If my family didn't live here, I would move.....
My brother lives near Denver and has a beautiful, big 4 bedroom and pays $1500....Yes... that is one thousand five hundred!!!!!!

You're going to hate me.... I live in Orange COunty, So Cali and my taxes are $2000.00 a year! I have lived in the same house for many years so thats why mine are so low.
I live in a 2200 sq ft house on a large lot too.

We live in Lake Ronkonkoma. We have a expanded Cape (4 Bedroom, 2 Bath, LR, DR, Kitchen, Finished Basement). The property is a little more than 1/4 acre. Our taxes are $6,100. Unreal!

I can top all of you. I live in Town of Babylon. But its a legal Mother/Daughter so takes are almost 13,000!
We plan on grieving and hope to get lowered to around 10k.
But ultimately I'm sure we will wind up moving off LI.

I live in NJ and our takes are $15k per year. Our town also is going through a reassesment and we'll find out in November how much the taxes are going up.

I live in Dallas, Texas. My house is 3200SQ ft on a 1/4 acre and my taxes are 5000. They have gone up in the past 8 years because property value has skyrocketed here.

We have a 3 bedroom California Ranch-- big time fixer upper- but- lots of poured concrete.
$7500 (that is with STAR) and we are in Oceanside.

We live in Lk Ronkonkoma. 2bdm, 1 bath, no basement. $3400. Keep in mind nothing has been done to this house since is was built in 1954. Once we do renovations, the taxes are going to sky-rocket!

I live in Islandia the next town over but in Central Islip school district( we do not have children yet) My taxes....get ready for this
ETA: 4 BD expanded ranch(farm ranch) on 1/3 acre
Are $7800!!!!!!! Thats without Star.
With start they are $5800 plus about $600 in village tax.
